I've stayed here three times, and its location is a big plus for my family since it's right next to a Catholic Church. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are spacious enough and clean, the rates are very reasonable, and the location is very good.

I attended a three-day workshop here in May. On my first visit, it was hard to find: even the Uber driver had trouble locating the building. You have to enter through Tianxia Di Yi Jia to find another entrance to The Koos Hotel (The Koos Hotel). The lobby, lift, and conference room looked old and run down, and I don't think I'd want to stay here. There seemed to be lots of mosquitoes in the conference room that season, and quite a few friends got bitten. On the second day, there was dog poo outside the hotel's walkway. On the third day, the level two toilets wouldn't flush, and there was no water from the sink to wash our hands. Thankfully, the accessible toilet still worked, and there was water in the level one conference room.

The place stinks, and it's the filthiest, mouldiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is convenient, but I wouldn't want to take my shoes off or sit on a chair there. I just hope I don't end up with bed bugs.

The WiFi worked well, which was a bonus. The hotel is okay and handy for X Indian district, but the facilities fell short of what you might expect, and it's certainly not luxurious. Breakfast was basic, with limited choice. It was okay, but not great, and served next door because the hotel has no restaurant. The rooms were reasonably well kitted out at some point, but now feel tired and need a refit.

I had to stay here for a couple of weeks, but next time I'll choose ANOTHER HOTEL. The hotel was disinfected for three days because of a very dangerous illness!!! I couldn't get them to call a taxi when I needed to go to work each day. Fortunately, on the last day the company chaffeur drove me from Taipeh city to the airport. The room was dirty and smelly, with grease or oil on the furniture, even though it was a no smoker room. It was too noisy to open the window at night, and I couldn't move to another room. The WC wouldn't flush from the first day, though it was repaired later. There was so much chlor in the water that I could smell it in the bedroom. Reception offered no help when I asked where to eat or what to visit. The WLAN never worked, and after telling them three times, I gave up. There was no manager responsible in the evening or night, and the staff couldn't even say Good morning or Good evening. Breakfast was toast to make yourself, butter, and marmelade for Europeans, with nothing else except the Taipeh typical menu. When I paid, the credit card device rejected both of my cards until another employee came in, and then suddenly I could pay. A week later I asked by email, through my company that booked the room, for a copy of my invoice because I couldn't find it. We sent three reminders and got NO ANSWER, though my credit card company confirmed they received the money.
