The self-service laundry room was a real help for a traveler, and I’d stay here again if I’m in Xindian. I’ve been to Bitan twice and both visits went well. The beds, AC, WIFI, bathroom, breakfast, and staff were all good. I’d recommend Bitan to anyone looking for a good-value 3-star hotel.

My mom was very happy during her 20-day stay. The location was great, with the suspension bridge shopping area just around the corner and the MRT about ten minutes away, or probably two if you swim across the river. The room cost less than other nearby hotels and had everything she needed. She did mention that the same breakfast got a little old after a while, though most guests probably stay a day or two rather than three weeks. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s a lot close by, including restaurants, convenience stores, a hiking trail, and the shopping street across the suspension bridge. The bus stop is a three-minute walk, while the MRT station is about 7-10 minutes away, with more places to eat above it. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast gets repetitive, but it’s great value for money.

The location is good, but I had no hot water after checking in. I had to ask the front desk to turn it on last Thursday, then again on Friday night. There were mosquitoes in the room too. The service was terrible, and I don’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel is older, and the room was the one downside, but at this price it’s hard to beat. It’s right by the river, and the service was so helpful, especially the breakfast lady and the front desk staff. They were particularly accommodating since my husband has Celiacs Disease and needs gluten-free food.
