Timing House

The owners at Timing House were super friendly and helpful. We rented a bike from them to ride around the lake, and they gave us plenty of useful ideas for where to go and what to eat. The room was very clean and relaxing, with high-quality facilities. We left a water bottle behind when we checked out. The owners got in touch and went out of their way to mail it to where we were staying in Kaohsiung. Thanks so much, Timing House. We had an amazing stay.

There’s a 7-11 just to the left of the first-floor exit, which was really handy. The first floor is a shared area with a washing machine and a pond. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a functional shower. Check-in is at the back of the third floor, through Pa Pa Zou Independent Travel bicycle shop. The bus station and pier are close by.

The rooms were clean and the location worked well for us. We were traveling as a group, and the staff kindly rearranged things so our rooms were next to each other. The service was amazing.

We had a great time riding around Sun Moon Lake, and renting bikes from the accommodation at a discounted price made it easy. It ended up being one of my favorite memories from Taiwan. On checkout day, we left a water bottle at Timing House. The staff contacted us on Whatsapp and mailed it to our next place in another city. Such kind, attentive people, and the room had a cute Totoro look, a roomy shower, and a perfect location. 😭😭😭 Highly recommend!
