The owner, his wife, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The owner's wife also gave me useful travel tips. The guesthouse is conveniently close to Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village. Inside, the room was comfortable and spacious, with a separate shower and toilet and great water pressure. The soundproofing was excellent. Murals around the outside, stairwell, and room made it a fun place for photos, and the starry sky ceiling was beautiful. My boyfriend and I spent nearly half an hour taking pictures after checkout. I'd happily visit again if I get the chance. Highly recommended!

The kids always ask first whether a place is clean when we stay overnight. We've had some really bad resort experiences in Kenting, so cleanliness matters most to me. This time was wonderful, and I haven't stayed at such a comfortable guesthouse in ages. It's mainly set up for families, with spacious rooms and even a rooftop with a starry sky. The owners and their family were incredibly friendly. They helped us plan a trip to Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village so we could make the most of it, and we had a fantastic time the next day. 🤣

Breakfast was included, which I hadn't had at a B&B in a while. On the first morning, since they knew we were doing the ferry race, they prepared lunch boxes for us. The second day we had a local breakfast. We stayed one more night after the race and showered in our own room. I also saw the owner offer the first-floor bathroom to other participants who were checking out that day, which was great. Our group of eight had a fifth-floor duplex room during the ferry race. There was an elevator, so we didn't have to lug bags upstairs. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had strong hot water. Since there were so many of us, they offered us a bathroom on the sixth floor, though we only found out the day before. There's a big parking lot in front of the B&B, with room for about 7-8 cars. If it's full, there's another lot by the nearby temple, about a minute's walk away. The ferry race wasn't particularly expensive. The venue was quite far, but that wasn't a big issue if we left late at night or needed to catch a bus afterward. I can't really find any flaws. It would be more convenient to have a hair dryer and a trash can upstairs.

The owner, landlady, and housekeeping staff are all super friendly, so the stay feels stress-free. We stayed two nights and weren't bothered by noise from other guests at all. I'd read online that soundproofing wasn't great, but unless your room is very quiet and you go to bed before 9 pm, you probably won't feel disturbed. We were actually shouting pretty loudly in our room, so maybe I owe the owner an apology... oh my god!!! We bring the kids here once a year, and we love this place!!! Highly recommended for anyone traveling in Taiwan. If we go to central Taiwan next year, we'll definitely stay again.
