A decent, affordable hotel in a great spot, and easy to get to. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. There’s a pool, and the reception is beautifully designed, with paintings and sculptures around the hotel. The doors are very large, so wheelchairs can pass through easily. #Letsguide

The rooms are average and look a bit old-fashioned, and the services are average too. The Indian restaurant is the main attraction for me. There's a big swimming pool, though Arusha stays so cold even in summer that it takes courage to dive in. Lotus Spa offers spa and massage from 9am-9pm.

The location is the only reason I can give this two stars. It's well placed, not in the city center but not too far from everything else. The hotel itself feels stuck in the 80s, tacky, and the rooms are just okay. Maybe you'll get one without rusty bathroom fittings. For what they charge, the service is way too poor. Breakfast was stale bread and other stale "pastries," hard, dry "pancakes," and something called French toast that tasted like cardboard. The desk staff seemed completely uninterested in working. I stood there about five minutes before anyone looked up, probably from solitaire on the computer.

We stopped here for lunch, and it was really tasty. The waiter was very polite. I left my bag behind, but they brought it out to me just as I got into my car. Very honest, thank you! Good value for money.

It's a nice, quiet place, with spacious rooms, an African touch, and what they call a modernized look. My meal took longer than I expected and wasn't prepared well. Maybe I just chose the wrong thing.
