The setting was a big part of what I loved. The property is spacious, gated, and feels secure, with a beautiful view of Mount Meru. We stayed in the apartment, and the hosts made us feel so welcome. They were wonderful people, always ready to help, and the food was great too. They even arranged a lovely dinner for us for a small extra charge and helped find a driver to take us to the city center. I loved the atmosphere.

Breakfast was excellent, and on our final day the cook made dinner for us on-site, preparing rice, chicken, sauce, and vegetables in the kitchen. We stayed in the apartment block beside the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and access to the shared kitchen. Highly recommended.

The apartment still wasn't ready when we arrived at 17h00, even though our check-in time was 14h00. We were told to wait another hour. The Booking.com photos also gave a misleading impression of the rooms, which didn't look like the pictures in person.

I wouldn't recommend it. I went there to swim, but the pool seemed poorly maintained and the hotel looked run down, with little upkeep. The pool changing rooms were unfinished too, with no tiling or fittings.

We had a great time here. The service was good for all travelers.
