We were in Arusha for our first day in Tanzania, taking a rest before the safari, and this place was a great start. The room was clean and roomy, and the bed was comfortable. There was an AC unit, but since we visited in winter we didn't need it. Breakfast came with our stay and had a good range: eggs, pancakes, bread, beef sausages, fruit, and juices. The coffee was great too. Dinner has plenty of choices, and the food was hot and tasty. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and its staff were especially friendly and accommodating. I can't really comment on the location since we weren't driving or exploring Arusha ourselves. I’m not sure why some reviews are low rated. I’d recommend the hotel and would gladly return.

We barely slept because the walls are so thin and staff were talking loudly and banging around all night. The restaurant was just as bad: food took over an hour, then came out bland and overcooked. Breakfast had only instant coffee, even though coffee is grown and farmed in nearby villages. Terrible hotel. Definitely stay somewhere else.

A small hotel with rooms that aren't very large, but they're sufficient. It makes a perfect gateway, and the food is fresh and delicious.

The staff were very good and supportive, especially the young man in the restaurant. Breakfast had good options and the food was decent. The location was a real drawback, tucked away with no proper roads. My room was small and I could hear noise whenever someone passed in the corridor. The washroom wasn't very clean, though manageable. There was also a little sitting and dining area in the room that didn't make sense to me; the space could have been used to make the room larger.
