The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable, but basic arrangements and service made both of my two-night stays around the safari disappointing. Towels, drinking water, and other essentials were provided for one person even though we had a room for two. The air conditioning also didn’t work, and with no shower curtain or door, water ended up across the floor. Food was average at best. We had room service once and breakfast once, but there was little to choose from and nothing that appealed to us. Asking for extra towels turned into a 30-minute wait and several trips to reception, since the room phone wasn’t working. Next time I’m in Arusha, I’ll have my safari company book somewhere else.

The food was good, and the staff were warm and friendly. The rooms, though, felt a little neglected, with mold and stains on the walls that could use attention. We also couldn’t use the pool during our stay because a private party had it, so guests had limited access.

I had a great stay in Arusha, and the staff were friendly. The only small downside was the wait for food at the hotel restaurant.

This place could be good, but it feels like nobody makes an effort. The rooms were dirty and had bizarre architecture and decor, and breakfast was bad. There was just one towel in the room, and when I asked for another, they never brought it. Laundry was super expensive too. And there’s more.

Avoid this hotel. We had already prepaid through Booking.com, but they tried to charge us again. The fruit juice they served was rotten and undrinkable, yet we were told we hadn’t ordered fresh juice. The security guard wouldn’t open the gate and started shouting at us. It was my worst stay in Arusha, especially when there are so many other nice hotels there.
