We were two people staying at Summit Safari Lodge in February, and had an excellent time. The setting is peaceful, with lovely views that make it easy to unwind. Our clean, comfortable room was well cared for, and the staff were warm, attentive, and ready to help. Meals were tasty and nicely prepared, with a good range to choose from. We enjoyed the hospitality, comfort, and value, and would gladly recommend it for a quiet, scenic break, whether as a couple or otherwise.

A welcoming spot before setting off on your Kili adventure. The rooms are kept in good shape, and the rooftop restaurant is a nice extra. The staff were friendly and I had a really good stay. I’d come back.

The views are amazing, and the place is clean and well run. The food was fantastic, with great service too. Management went out of their way to work around guests’ special timings. Whether you come with friends, family, or on your own, you’re likely to enjoy it.

The food is good, and the staff really went out of their way to make things enjoyable on the couple of times I stayed before my Kili hike and safari. The rooms feel pretty dated. The towels are very rough, though they did the job after a dusty, dirty hike. Laundry service costs far too much.

The rooftop restaurant was pretty good, and the staff treated us really well. The stairs were odd, with every step a different height. It’s a useful base for local adventures and close to Arusha airport, though JRO is over an hour away.
