We tried the pool this time and had such a peaceful, relaxing visit. It felt clean and safe, and there are changing rooms and showers too. We ordered pizza, a cocktail, and coffee. The coffee was good, and the staff kept checking that everything was okay. Such a comfortable place.

The welcoming staff made us feel at ease the whole time at Forest Hill Hotel. We had a great stay and really enjoyed it. I'd happily recommend it! 🙏🏼

The pool and grounds were a lovely place to unwind, with stunning views. The water was pretty cold, though refreshing after a day of travel, and there was calm music in the shared areas. I only stayed one night and wished it had been longer. I'd definitely come back. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone greeted me warmly, and some even came over specifically to ask how I was getting on. I felt genuinely looked after. It's a small, intimate property with 64 rooms, so the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. My room was very comfortable, with a great bed, excellent AC, a fridge, and a nice welcome basket. The bathroom also had spare wash kits, handy if you've forgotten toiletries. The food was simple, tasty, and felt home-cooked. There were plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a good whiskey selection at reasonable prices. Free water was available in the dining room. A high quality, peaceful stay.

Every staff member gave us excellent service. They went out of their way to handle our dietary needs and some last-minute changes, which we really appreciated.
