La Casetta A Zanzibar

The house is a great base for exploring the island, while still being just steps from the local beaches. Asha takes care of the house and is a talented cook. Her handyman friend Toti can organize all kinds of excursions. Nearby, a small village full of wonderful children gives you a close-up taste of real Zanzibar life.

La Casetta a Zanzibar is spacious, bright, spotless, and has all the comforts you need. It’s a welcoming, well-maintained home in the middle of beautiful local nature, with a magical atmosphere. The garden is lovely for spending evenings with friends after a day in the sun. Staff were very kind and helpful, and prepared delicious breakfasts for us every morning. I went with the kids for New Year’s Eve. I’d already stayed at a Zanzibar resort, but we had a wonderful time in this little house. The rooms are spacious and each has its own bathroom. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and there are little shops a few minutes from the house selling fruit, vegetables, water, and other essentials. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to experience local customs and traditions. My kids left their hearts in the house.
