The meals were a highlight, and we could choose when we wanted to eat. They worked around our schedule instead of setting one for us. Andy welcomed us with fresh-squeezed juice and big smiles, and told us to make ourselves at home. He and Lillian were wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed felt just like my own. With fresh fruit, great food, and such kind hosts, I can’t recommend Tumani Cottages enough.

The views were beautiful, though it’s a little way out of the city. They serve breakfast and dinner, and the meals were delicious. We had lovely conversations with the super friendly hosts, stayed in a very nice room with a hot shower, and they kept our extra belongings while we went on safari.

We only stayed one night on our honeymoon, which is now our one regret. Andy made us feel at home straight away, with his warm personality and excellent English. He was easy to talk to, knew the area well, and went out of his way to fit what we needed. We had a memorable stay at Tumaini Home Stay, and Andy’s genuine care made it special. We’d absolutely recommend it.

A quiet, green spot with a nice view over part of southern Arusha and Mount Meru. The rooms were good, and we got to try some local dishes. It would be a nice place for a group of 16.
