Villa Poa

The Villa Poa crew, especially Greg, were fantastic for our Arusha stay and safari. Thanks so much, highly recommend them, 10/10.

The outdoor tent rooms were really nice, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast is included and good, while dinner was tasty for $10. I’d have liked a softer mattress and more bathroom lighting.

Lucy welcomed us warmly, handled our laundry, and was accommodating with our vegetarian meals. The staff also took us into town to shop for safari supplies, helped us find what we needed, and we had a nice lunch afterward. The villa has a lovely front garden with swinging beds and places to sit and relax. There was some mix-up on arrival: we didn’t get the room we’d booked and were given a bungalow instead. After that, we had a large, comfortable room with a spacious terrace where I could clearly see Mount Meru at sunset. We really enjoyed our stay. We booked a safari through them at the last minute, so it felt rushed and some details were missed. We were transferred to another company, but still had a great time. The different companies on the tour all seemed to make sure we saw and did enough. It’s an experience we won’t forget.

The beds were cozy, the shower was hot, and the price was good. The food was delicious, and the staff were so helpful. It felt welcoming, almost like being at home. Highly recommend!
