At 18, traveling on my own, I couldn’t have picked a better trip. My time with Viva Tanzania was incredible, and I’m so grateful for all the memories and experiences. The Silverleaf Arusha Modern School project was fantastic. The children were sweet and open, and I loved spending time with them and teaching them. They gave me so much love and laughter in return. The staff were always friendly and helpful, greeting me with a smile.

I spent the past month volunteering with Viva Tanzania, teaching English and basic business skills to young women through an organization called Perfect Vision. It was really fulfilling, and I loved working with and getting to know the girls. The hostel was very nice, with fun activities like dancing, yoga, and beading. The chefs also made delicious breakfast and dinner. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the program.

I’m so grateful to tizia, rama and the whole staff for making my volunteering stay so lovely. Everyone was kind and ready to help, and the tours they offer are varied and well organized. I had the best time at Villa Viva Tanzania and can’t wait to come back someday.

Villa Viva has a great vibe, with lots of welcoming, open minded people to spend time with. You can also have privacy whenever you need it. The pool, tasty food, and extraordinary rooftop bar make it a wonderful place to stay in Arusha.

The location is excellent, the place is clean, and the staff are all kind and helpful. I felt it was quite safe traveling here alone as a woman. I definitely recommend it.
