10/10
The rooms are lovely, painted marine blue, and the view from the window over the city terrain is amazing. There’s plenty of hot water and AC for humid weather. Breakfast can keep you going all day, and the soups are tantalising. The chicken pizza is scrumptious too. It’s a posh hotel in friendly surroundings, and you’re unlikely to get lost. WiFi is stable. If you get bored, there are small-scale sellers nearby with lovely jewels and fruit.

Getting around is easy from this prime spot near the bus stand. It’s very convenient for travel.

The rooms are spacious and well kept, room service is good, and the meals are tasty with plenty of options. The service is splendid, with that natural Tanzanian politeness, and the hotel is amazing for the price. There are a few downsides: noise from nearby construction and the market, plus car noise since it’s close to an intersection. I also spotted a few roaches in the room.
