It's okay and spacious, and it's near the bus stand, so I'd suggest staying here if you're heading to the southern regions, such as mtwara. The facilities are old, though, and there was too much smoke smell on the first floor. Those issues cost it two stars for me.

The people are nice, and I was pleasantly surprised to get a new toothbrush and soap. There's no mosquito net, though, and it's barely okay just for sleeping if you can manage with music blasting at full volume until 5am.

There's a good place to eat and a night club, but be ready to climb the stairs.

It's easy to get to, near mbagala road. Royal Giraffe Hotel has changed its name and is now known as Sudan Hotel.

The restaurant and night club are good, and it's a good place, though it isn't like it was 3 years back.
