It's good, but there's room for improvement.

Fine for a weekend, though the rooms are just average and the hotel could use some refurbishment. The menu has very few vegetarian choices, and it's hard to explain a specific dish to the staff. The waiters could use a bit more hospitality training too.

The bedsheets weren't very clean, and they had no toothbrushes when we called to ask. Shouldn't they check their stock before guests arrive? The towel was blue, which seemed odd. The A/C remote didn't work either; when I called reception about it, she laughed. Bad, bad customer care. I won't forget this address.

A great spot for work events, with practical conference facilities and dining right by the beach, where you can hear the waves. The kitchen is good and the food is palatable. Parking is secure and shaded by vegetation, though the rooms run around USD 100 to 150 per night. The beachfront location is superb, and for now it may be the best value resort in Bagamoyo.

The staff are friendly, service is good, and the prices are reasonable, but I still came away disappointed. The A/C was so loud it was hard to sleep, and there were no remotes to adjust the temperature. Mosquitoes kept us company through the night. Restaurant food was mediocre, the pool was heavily chlorinated, and they had no multi-plug adapter for equipment with non-UK plugs.
