The food was really tasty, the staff were nice, and the views from the bar were great. The place was clean too. Still, it feels a bit worn out and overpriced, and the beach is rocky and rough, so swimming there isn't great. The owner was genuinely helpful and kind, which made the rating a hard call, but to stay objective I’m giving it 3 stars.

The food was OK, and it does have a cozy feel, but the place looks almost abandoned and needs a lot of renovation. The rooms are very small, dark, and dated, and one had a bad smell. The beach isn't very good either, and there isn't much to do nearby since it's in the middle of a local area.

I came from London and had such a lovely stay. The food and atmosphere were excellent, and this is the best oceanfront spot on Zanzibar's west coast. I love Hope the amputee dog, and I'll be back many times. Highly recommend.

It's a quiet, nice spot, and the owner is an interesting person who's very helpful. The place took a huge hit at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic and nearly closed. It could be great, but it needs quite a bit of maintenance, and the dirty beachfront isn't a welcoming sight.

The rooms were very clean, and both the staff and the guy running the place were amazing. The food was delicious, and the nearby locals were super friendly. Such a calm, tranquil, blissful stay. Best place in Zanzibar, 12/10.
