The trip from Moscow was a whole-day affair, including a four-hour stop in Dubai, but once we arrived, I was happy with both the stay and the vacation. From our house, it’s around seven minutes downhill to the ocean and ten minutes back up. There are minimarkets nearby, including ones that sell alcohol. Nungwi Beach is the best ❤️❤️❤️, with very little tide and practically no seaweed. We spent one day at the 5* Nungwi Dream Hotel, and something about both the ocean and the seaweed there seemed odd. We were there November 16-27, 2025, with a large group from the Moscow region. We were the only guests at the time, just our tourist family 😀. The place felt lovely, with greenery, a small pool, a veranda for breakfast, another cozy spot to sit together, and sofas outside the rooms. Each room had a toilet and shower, and everything worked well. There wasn’t a wardrobe, which we gathered from other tourists was the case everywhere, but Dima, the owner, quickly brought us a spacious shelving unit. There was also air conditioning, a fan, and a small old fridge that cooled very well. Breakfast came with the stay. It was repetitive but tasty 😋, usually fruit and different kinds of eggs or pancakes, with jam and Nutella every day. The local instant coffee was delicious. The creamer was powdered. This might sound like a dry review, but it really was wonderful from beginning to end, apart from that long flight.
