Victoria Palace Hotel

Breakfast was quite nice, but the room was in poor shape. The bed sheets were old and dirty, and the windows wouldn't close properly, so mosquitoes got in. The bath wasn't fixed to the floor and shifted when I showered, while water ran out.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We spent almost all our time at the hotel, but the WiFi was very poor and sometimes didn't work at all. We had to keep asking for towels, which only arrived after several reminders. Some rooms don't have a freezer, and you have to tell them to clean the room or they won't do it.

The staff were welcoming, room service was good, and breakfast was good too. My room was excellent and very spacious, with air conditioning. It had keyless entry, so there was no need to worry about keys. The hotel compound and vehicle parking area are small.

A calm, well-designed place in a peaceful neighborhood. The staff were courteous and the food was great. Especially nice for families or anyone looking for somewhere quiet. I'd say it's a must visit.
