The new-block apartments are roomy and comfortable, and the location is reasonably close to things. I also appreciated the cleaning staff and the laundry room worked well. But they wouldn’t provide basic kitchen items, so I wouldn’t suggest staying long term. The manager was so indifferent and unhelpful it was almost funny. Then rent went up 40% without warning, with tenants told only by a notice beside the elevators. This could be a great place in Dar, but they need to get organized.

We paid $65 a day for a fully furnished two-bedroom unit, which felt like good value. The kids were comfortable, and for an extra $4 a day they arranged someone to clean and cook for us.

My family and I have stayed here twice, and it feels like home to us. Really lovely place.

The place is nice, and the service is nice too. If you’re in darsilamu with friends or a group, just come by and you’ll see what I mean. You’re welcome.

It’s in a good spot, but the facilities are dated and need renovation.
