We enjoyed our stay as a family in April, and we’ve been to Giraffe Beach hotel several times before. We regularly recommend it to our guests because we love the place. The connecting rooms worked well for us, and we’ll return and keep recommending it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from reception and the cleaning ladies to the pool and restaurant staff. The food is good, but the dish choices are limited and pricey if you stay for a few days and eat lunch and dinner there. It can add up, with few ways to vary things, and there are no children’s options.

We were at the hotel for a workshop, and the setup was professional. It’s in a great spot on the beach, and the staff are very friendly. The pool is well designed, though sometimes the music is intrusive. Restaurant and other service could be slow at times, as staff didn’t seem to have the freedom to step outside their assigned roles. That seems like a management issue.

The staff are great, especially Rehema, Silas, the 2 Elizabeth, Zakaria, and Godfrey. Giraffe Beach Hotel is a good choice if you want somewhere quiet with a pool and beach access, for leisure or conferences. It’s such a chic hotel, with little extra services that make you feel looked after. It would be great if they added spa services.

If you need Wi-Fi, they’ll give you a code to use, and then you have free Wi-Fi. There are both shallow and deep swimming pools, so if you like swimming, this is the place.
