Hotel Nikko Tower

The room stayed quiet, with no noise from the other rooms, though the 5am chime woke me during all three days of my stay. There was still dust, especially under the curtains, and rusty brown water came out of the shower on the first night. The breakfast menu could use some creativity.

We had a really smooth two-night stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us, and the owner was around to answer questions, listened carefully, and helped whenever we needed it. The hotel was clean, and our room had Wi-Fi, a fridge, AC, and an electric fan. Breakfast is served in the morning, while lunch and dinner have to be ordered out. We enjoyed our time here and appreciated the care and service. If you need somewhere in town in Dar es salaam, check this place out.

My room faced the street, so there was some daytime noise, but it was completely quiet at night. The property is older, though clean and updated with nice touches. I had a very comfortable bed, good furnishings, excellent AC, and a great shower with two horizontal body sprays as well as the overhead rain shower. The bath towels were huge, and there were clean rubber flipper slippers, though no robe. Staff were attentive and gracious, and the place is easy to walk from to almost anywhere. I arrived around 9:00 while breakfast was still being served. Since I had to check out at 2:45a the next morning, they let me have my free breakfast a day early. Internet speeds in the room were generally good to fair. I only stayed one night before my flight, but it was comfortable and I'd return. Good location. The location is central and handy for business centres, and the people here are cooperative, friendly and helpful. The food was awesome. I'd highly recommend staying here.
