The location is nice and feels very local, with great cheap local food nearby, and the owner was friendly, though he said he'd come talk to us and never did. There was also AC in the room. Those are the reasons for the two stars, because the place fell far short of what we expected. The booking said the room had a bath, so we thought there'd at least be a bathroom inside. The “garden” in the photos turned out to be just a small table by the entrance. The room was cramped, had no mosquito net, and had a strange toilet, shower and sink setup. To use a proper bathroom, we had to go to a shared one. The mattress had holes, and there was no blanket. Breakfast was half an omelette, two slices of bread and tea, even though the photos showed fruit and coffee. The girl helping around spoke no English, so another guest had to help us. We called to mention the holes in the mattress, and he said he'd send a WhatsApp message so we could send photos. He never messaged us.
