The location of New Safina Hotel is good, but my family member had a very disappointing stay there. Her room wasn't properly arranged on arrival, and it didn't feel worth the price. The bed was uncomfortable, while the bathroom was tiny. The shower had weak pressure and the hot water kept fluctuating. I asked for a towel several times and never got one, and the staff came across as unfriendly and unconcerned about helping. The restaurant was another letdown. The breakfast I ordered was barely edible, and the food was terrible. With the poor room and service, I wouldn't recommend New Safina Hotel. There are better options in Dar es Salaam.

The staff were so welcoming that I felt at home during my nearly 20 days there. We did have trouble with the Wi-Fi at one point, though it was fixed just before I left. I loved the place.

The room and bathroom were clean and nice, and breakfast was free. The staff, though, didn't feel very welcoming and seemed irritated by basic questions. For tourists, the location may not be ideal since it's far from both the airport and downtown.
