Room 302 was roomy and comfortable. The pillows were lovely, the mattress was good, and the air con was very quiet. A little maintenance would have made the room even better. The staff were nice and helped me get an easy breakfast, though their English wasn't very good. For what I paid, it was very good value. I'll be back.

Whenever I'm in Dar, I stay here most of the time, and I visit a few times a year. I like everything about the place. Rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, prices are cheap, and the pool has water.

The pool and poolside bar were extremely dirty, and I couldn't lock my door from inside. At night the gate man and receptionist are asleep unless you arrive by car and honk. The staff were incredibly rude.

Dinner was awesome, with big portions, and breakfast was a lovely surprise with loads of fresh fruit. My bed was really comfortable, and the hot shower had good pressure. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pleasant reception lady seemed to handle most of the work and made sure guests' concerns were noted. Great place for a stayover, and I'll definitely return.

This is a private, lovely place, but it's a Hostel😉, really, so keep your expectations modest and make yourself comfortable. Check the bed, TV, shower and WiFi, and ask for anything to be changed or improved. Then get out, smile and talk to your hostesses. They're friendly and work long hours for you. Spend time with other guests by the pool or bar. Meet up, talk, drink and laugh, then turn in. It's safe.
