It’s an affordable place for traders visiting kariokoo market. The room gets extremely hot, though, because the AC doesn’t cool very effectively.

The rooms were small and smelled bad, and the staff weren’t cooperative. For those conditions, the price felt too high. I won’t stay here again 😭😭

A great spot in the city, with Kirakoo Market close enough to walk to 👌👌

I found the rooms dated and in need of major maintenance and more care, though the hotel was good value for money. The laundry was pricey for Tanzania, and my clothes came back just as stained and grimy as before, apparently only dipped in water and dried. The manager was at reception when I arrived and gave me an extremely warm welcome. That wasn’t the way the rest of the staff treated me. I had a 4h30 departure and asked for a packed breakfast, but the receptionist said Sleep Inn never provides one and was rude and dismissive. The location made onward travel easy. I was catching a coach and could get to the departure point without trouble, with transport hubs and a few malls nearby.
