The service really stood out. The staff even arranged a hair appointment in my room on the huge balcony, where I could see the scenery, because I had a wedding to attend. The Msusi (locktician) came as scheduled, which made me thrilled. I had a late flight that landed close to midnight, and staff kindly waited after hours to check me in. My room was huge, spotless, and had beautiful views over Coco beach and the ocean. The hotel is across the street from Coco Beach, the most popular beach in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Rooms, staff, location, all amazing. I’ll definitely return to the Oyster Bay Hotel and suites. HIGHLY recommended!

The staff at The Oyster Bay Hotel Suites were warm and professional, and the location made it easy to get to cultural sights, shopping areas, and entertainment. The hotel feels like a quiet retreat in a busy city, set along a picturesque bay. The spacious suites are styled for comfort, with plush bedding, luxurious bathrooms, modern amenities, and private balconies overlooking either the bay or city skyline. There are plenty of ways to unwind: an outdoor pool in lush gardens, spa treatments and massages, a well-equipped gym, and yoga sessions overlooking the bay. The restaurant serves gourmet food with local ingredients and international flavors, including seafood, prime cuts of meat, and vegetarian choices, alongside selected wines and artisanal cocktails. It’s more than just somewhere to sleep, and a memorable option for people looking for comfort, style, and hospitality.

We had a fun one-night stay before heading off on safari. After a long flight, the quiet atmosphere and comfortable rooms made it easy to relax. The hotel is in the heart of Dar es Salaam, with lovely sea views, tasty local food, and great staff.
