Baobab Bungalows

We were at Baobab Bungalows in late September and early October, and would happily come back anytime. Its beach is stunning and much quieter than places like Paje, which suited us perfectly. The property is lovely, clean, well cared for, and peaceful, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to switch off. Barbara deserves a special thank you. She made us feel welcome from the start, took care of every wish with real dedication, and shared great tips. Her passion for hosting really comes through. Breakfast was fresh, lovingly prepared, and an excellent start to the day. For a calm, authentic and welcoming Zanzibar stay, this is a clear recommendation. We felt right at home.

We loved the calm, private feel of Baobab Bungalows, even though the beach is only a short walk away. The pool became our favourite place to unwind after exploring, and the lush garden and well-designed bungalows made the property beautiful and inviting. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with what we needed. Barbara and the team offered helpful suggestions for local spots and excursions, and even made breakfast for us before an early departure. Their warmth made the stay feel like home. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, especially thanks to Barbara, who went out of her way for us. Highly recommend for comfort, peace, and genuine island hospitality.
