I could work remotely here thanks to the reliable, steady internet, while still enjoying an ocean view. That’s not always easy to find in a beach spot. HA Beach in Jambiani has a beautiful beachfront setting, with a calm, laid-back atmosphere that fits the area nicely. The food was fresh and well prepared, and there was a good range of seafood to choose from. The drinks were refreshing and suited the beach setting. It’s a peaceful place for good food, drinks and an oceanfront stay, and I’d recommend it to visitors to Jambiani, especially remote workers looking for a scenic place to get things done.

We loved our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time with Mango the cat! The staff were amazing, and we felt very well looked after the whole time. There was no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it because the building stayed nice and cool. The sun beds are on a raised platform above the beach, still on sand and open to the sea. It gave us the beach feel without leaving us completely exposed to pushy vendors.

We stayed in the villa at HA Beach Hotel and loved it. Sitting on the “deck” each afternoon to watch local people play football was such fun. The light later in the day is beautiful, even though you don’t get the stunning sunsets you see in Nungwi, and it’s less hot. Breakfasts were amazing, especially the smashed feta, and Ester was a delightful host. A little drinks fridge in the villa would have been nice.

The room wasn’t luxurious, but it had all we needed and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The surroundings are beautiful, and the whole place felt like a little slice of paradise. It’s right on the beach, with the sea only steps from the door and a small pool where you can relax with a drink and enjoy the ocean views. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout.

We loved the freshly made seafood platter, it was so delicious. The restaurant sits right by the beach with a lovely view and fresh breeze, and the food was amazing. The staff were great, especially Martha and Yusuf. I recommend it 100%.
