The peaceful feel and friendly staff made this a beautiful place to stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It's a great location for unwinding and enjoying Zanzibar. Highly recommend for a pleasant stay, and I'd definitely visit again.

The room and location were very clean, but we ran into several problems. The AC and fans didn't work properly through the night. We were told there was a power issue, even though the lights worked. When we asked about the backup generator, they said its battery was dead. We found it hard to believe that in 12 hours they couldn't find a single battery to get the generator running. We wound up sleeping outside for a few hours, but couldn't rest with all the mosquitoes. Eventually we went back to the room, where it was very hot, and our children slept poorly. We left at 7 am, but there was no staff member available to check us out and no security around at any time. After all that, nobody even apologized for the inconvenience. I felt it was necessary to share our experience in a review.

The room service has been horrible, and the air conditioning and fan still don’t work after a full day. There isn’t even a cable. When I booked, I was clearly told both would work perfectly. We paid the full amount and feel we were misled.

For what they charge, I expected things to be up to standard, but the customer care was the worst. Honestly, I’m surprised they can run a business like this. A really bad experience 👎
