Menai Bay Bungalows was peaceful and lovely, with a beautiful beach and a great quiet base for doing lots of other things. The staff were amazing and always willing to help. The bungalows had a cleaner every day, and she even washed our water shoes and left them out to dry. It's between two villages, where we swam with local people and children. Everyone was very friendly. This isn't a high-tech place, but it suits the area well. Staff can arrange pickups and trips of your choice, and the guides have plenty of information to share.

It used to be an unmistakably luxurious hotel, but now it shows its age. We ran into some problems at first and spoke with the manager, who was very helpful and accommodating. After that, we were still able to enjoy our holiday. It suits people who like being secluded and don't expect too much. I might come back. Thank you.

There's a lot of potential here, but it seems nobody is doing anything with it, which is really sad. The staff are sweet and friendly, and the food was good, but this feels like a management problem. I'd only recommend it if you want to be completely isolated and bring your own tools 😭
