Zanzibar Vera Beach by Moonshine

We had a good stay. Our room was large, clean, and well looked after. The breakfast could be better, and the pool needs to be cleaned better.

I stayed here on vacation in April 2023 and would definitely like to come back. The hotel was new, quiet, and cozy. The sea view from the pool was amazing, and the beach was just a stone’s throw away. It was especially nice at high tide, in the afternoon during April. Our room was clean, with housekeeping every day. The staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Denis, who handled every small issue with a smile and great service. He really lifted our experience. The food was great too, and the chef’s pepper beef is a must-try. There were a lot of annoying flies, though, and not much greenery. The second-floor rooms are large but don’t get enough cooling from the A/C.

This was the worst place I’ve stayed. The smell was so, so bad. They need to fix it as soon as possible so guests don’t have to go through such a terrible experience. I was always looking forward to the time I could leave. The staff were lovely, though. Please do something about that horrible smell.

The view was nice, and they treated us so well. Dennis was great too. Everything was perfect.
