Breeze Residence

The restaurant next door was the highlight for us. It's a small, authentic Italian place, and we ate there most days because the food was so good. The beach is an ideal two-minute walk away, and the property is quiet, with a lovely pool area. Our ground-floor apartment was private and roomy enough for a comfortable stay. It had basic self-catering equipment, including a stove and fridge, although we didn't cook. Hot water was reliable, the bedroom had air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi stayed stable for most of our visit. A backup generator kept the AC going when a storm knocked out the power overnight, so we slept through it. Staff and management were friendly and readily arranged taxis, massages, laundry, and other things we needed. It was good value, and we'd recommend it for this area. A few things management could improve: the Maasai security staff weren't very proactive. When we were leaving, five were sitting nearby and watched us carry our luggage without offering help. We noticed the same with other guests. Soap in the showers would be useful, since most people don't bring it along, and thicker spare blankets would help guests who sleep with the AC on, as it can get cold at night.
