The room was comfortable, though the nights got pretty hot. We didn't have AC, and power surges made the fan unreliable. There were lots of lovely spots to sit and take in the ocean views, plus a nice pool and an open-air gym and yoga space. We really appreciated the free badminton, volleyball, and kayaking too.

We came as a family and had such a great vacation. The atmosphere was lovely, and breakfast was delicious every day. The restaurant and pool views are incredible, especially at high tide. There are plenty of activities to choose from, including volleyball, badminton, and kayaking. I'd recommend it if you're after somewhere relaxing.

Monkeys came by regularly, and the views were lovely. We stayed in the accommodation for four nights and had a great time, with evening bonfires, activities, and a beachside bar. The bar didn't always have ice, and the tanning beds and couches could use a proper wash. Still, if you don't mind embracing the salty sun, those things won't bother you too much. At low tide, you can swim in the pool until the ocean tide comes in. Come for the atmosphere and good vibes.

We only had one night here, which was a shame. The food was delicious and beautifully served, and the staff were so kind and attentive. Everything was well equipped and the rooms spotless. Every detail felt lovely, with picturesque surroundings. This is the most tasteful hotel we've ever stayed at, and we'd highly recommend it.

A quiet, welcoming place by the ocean, with comfortable, well-kept rooms that mix natural beauty and modern comforts. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help, and the food was delicious. Promised Land Lodge in Kizimkazi is a lovely choice for a relaxing holiday, couples or honeymooners, or anyone after a peaceful, authentic Zanzibar stay. It offers good service and a distinctive island experience. I'd definitely recommend it to visitors.
