Kakakuona Resort

The room was clean, looked new and had warm water for showering. There was a restaurant on site, and the food portions were generous, though it took a long time to arrive. We were tired after a long drive, so we accepted one of the two rooms offered: one with two beds, the other with an extra-large bed. I was confused because we’d booked a Junior Suite, which was supposed to have a living room and separate bedroom, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a garden view. I’m not sure whether I misunderstood the staff or something else was going on, but when I asked, she said that kind of room didn’t exist. After contacting customer service to say I thought I’d paid too much for what we got, I received a partial refund. The place was a nice, beautiful stay in Lesotho. There was construction or renovation going on, with some materials left lying around. Parking was limited, and because it was popular, finding a spot could be difficult. The entrance was a dirt road wide enough for just one car at a time, either going in or coming out.
