Villa Unaweza

Villa Unaweza felt like a peaceful, intimate sanctuary, and I left refreshed and cared for. The villa is beautiful, with Zanzibari style blended with modern comforts and thoughtful details throughout. From arrival, the owner and staff made me feel welcome and went out of their way to make my stay feel right. The service was exceptional, with people ready to help or share a smile. It was an unforgettable experience, and I felt inspired too.

The twice-daily room service kept everything spotless and fresh, and in the evening they even prepared the room for the night. The housekeeping ladies also made fun little figures from towels or pajamas, a small touch that left a warm impression. At Villa Unaweza, the interiors and grounds are arranged so thoughtfully that it’s easy to relax and do nothing. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the restaurant serves generous, delicious breakfasts plus great lunches and dinners with local and international flavors. Time keeps moving, but here it can feel as if it pauses for a while. There’s such peace, warmth, and joy, and you can tell how much heart and soul went into making this a dream holiday in Zanzibar. The hotel is set a little back from the beach, but it’s only a short walk, so we got both quiet and easy beach access. The whole property is a dream, from the lovely dining area to the spacious, tastefully designed rooms. There are charming local restaurants nearby, and the hotel food was excellent too, with nothing we wanted left out. Any little request was handled right away and warmly by the manager, owners, or staff. We had unforgettable days at Villa Unaweza and will be back!

We felt at home from the moment we arrived at this beautiful boutique villa. The owner’s warmth and the staff’s attentive service made the stay special, and the place is lovely with every detail thought through. They can arrange transfers, excursions, massages, and other services, which made everything easy. The food was incredible, and the cocktails were delightful at the end of the day.
