Kasha is incredibly quiet, tucked into the forest, and protected day and night by the messiah, so it felt very safe. The staff were lovely, always smiling and kind, and made us feel at home. Rashidi the Manager was very sweet too. The rooms aren't perfect, but if anything's wrong, tell management and they'll do their best to help. We wanted beautiful beaches, walks, and local shops as part of our Zanzibar experience, but Kasha felt too isolated for us. Taxi fares are high, so getting to lively places costs a lot. The tap water is salty and a bit rusty. It's safe for showers, but we didn't use it to brush our teeth and kept bottled water for that. The beach is very rocky, full of sea urchins, and not swimmable. The food tasted good at times, but there wasn't much variety and we wanted more options. If you want privacy and quiet, Kasha could be your heaven.

We found Kasha Boutique Hotel beautiful and very clean, with a restful atmosphere and welcoming staff who were always ready to help. The restaurant food could be better. The private pool was so small it felt more like a Jacuzzi, and it wasn't fully private since staff and other guests could see through the plantation. The beach is rocky rather than sandy and covered in seaweed. Still, it's a lovely place, with a few things that could be improved.

The food wasn't the best, but otherwise I can't fault the place. Our enormous room had a lovely terrace and private pool overlooking the sea, and the whole complex felt serene and quiet. The public outdoor pool and breakfast area have stunning views over Mnemba island. The reception and dinner area are beautifully decorated, and there was easy access to the sea. The staff were lovely and attentive. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting.

The thing that stood out most was the staff. From reception to the breakfast and lunch team and the security guys, everyone was smiling, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We spent six nights in an Ocean Front Suite at Kasha Boutique hotel and loved it. The room was big, clean, and had a super comfortable bed, plus a lovely terrace, small private pool, and breathtaking views. It's a great choice for a relaxing stay in Zanzibar, away from big resorts and crowded areas. Thanks so much to all the team in Kasha 🥰.

Beautiful, well-kept surroundings, delicious food throughout, and genuinely kind staff. There were things to do beyond sunbathing too. We spent one of the best weeks of our lives there, unforgettable.
