Zanzibar Queen Hotel

The views are lovely, and the hotel is nicely built with nature in mind. Food was good, and I liked that the breakfast buffet changed every day, so there were plenty of options if you hadn't liked the day before. Service was friendly and helpful, with staff available all day. The beach wasn't great for swimming, though, because it was full of sea urchins. We'd booked a family room on Booking.com, but were given a standard room that was too small for us. After we asked for a bigger one, they managed to find a family room, and we're grateful for that. Still, I'm wondering why we didn't get it in the first place. It was a decent stay, though some things could be improved, especially for the price per night.

Months later, I'm still thinking about the seafood, the best I've had on the island so far 😍 The staff were super friendly, the beds comfortable, and everything was really clean. I felt completely relaxed here, with my mind and nervous system never circling back to work. We were so sad to leave. I loved everything about our stay and can't recommend it enough!! 😍😍😍

The atmosphere felt both friendly and luxurious 🤩 All seven of us really enjoyed the stay, from the service and cleanliness to the food. The menu changed every day, including starters, main dishes, and desserts. Staff were so nice and helped us out with the many problems we had with our rental car. They even came to help after we'd left the hotel area. Best hotel in Zanzibar!

A very relaxed atmosphere at this lovely boutique hotel, right on a beautiful, quiet beach. The spa was nice and the food was good. Staff were super friendly and attentive. A great fit for people and families looking to relax rather than party.
