The food was one of my favorite parts, especially the delicious Swahili dishes. I also loved how the owner used local materials creatively in the thoughtful design, and the projects they run in the area are inspiring. It’s an authentic place with a good energy from the moment you arrive. The owners really put their hearts into making it feel like home. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Tanzania.

The garden felt lively with friendly monkeys and cats, and the whole place had one of the best atmospheres we’ve seen in Tanzania. Our room looked fantastic and was in perfect condition. Oscar, Martin, and the whole team looked after us so well. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, made with care and local ingredients. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Kwa Simba team!

The staff and the surroundings are very friendly. Simba takes environmental protection seriously, especially the plastic bottles thrown into the ocean that affect marine life, and works alongside the local community. This is a place worth visiting.

I could’ve stayed longer, and would definitely recommend it. The owners are kind, interesting, and very relaxed, and you can see their connection with the local people. They create jobs, clean up the area, and start and support local projects. The setting is beautiful, with lovely lodges and rooms, a great swimming pool, a kitchen for cooking, comfortable seating, a viewpoint over the river, and a private beach for swimming. The food was great and everything was very clean. The longer I stayed, the more I noticed the owner’s lovely styling and local artistic decorations. It’s a beautiful bed and breakfast run by people who really care about the community.
