Communicating with the housekeeping attendant and kitchen staff was difficult.

This place has gone downhill. You now have to pay cash each day instead of settling the bill at the end of your stay. The rooms above the 4th floor just had their prices raised last week, while the lower rooms are quite old and decrepit. The air conditioning barely works, and the internet is unreliable or missing altogether. The sink sprays water onto you when you wash your hands. Breakfast is gross and weird, for example vegetable soup and arrowroot. Stay somewhere else.

On my last night, someone smoked nearby and I couldn’t sleep because I can’t stand the smell of smoke. I told the staff, but they couldn’t help. The curtains didn’t cover the windows properly and swung whenever there was a little wind. My room was on the 7th floor, but the elevator didn’t reach it. It only worked going upstairs.
