The food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the tilapia. My room was clean and the staff friendly. But the WiFi worked for 15 minutes, then stopped completely, so I couldn't get any work done. Room 212 was pretty noisy too, with a shop or something outside playing an annoying announcement on a loop.

The breakfast was a highlight, especially the mushroom fry, which has me hungry again just thinking about it. Everyone was kind and friendly, from the front desk to the housekeepers. Royal Mgwasi made my stay in Mbeya great, and Theo at the Concierge was especially top notch at her job. I had an amazing time here. If I'm ever back in Mbeya, this is where I'll stay again.

The location and service were good, and the rooms were well appointed. They felt rather small and cramped, though. Smaller sofas in place of the big one could give people more room to move around.

The quiet surroundings made it easy to unwind after a day of travel, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were welcoming too. My stay at Royal Mgwasi Hotel was relaxing and comfortable, with great hospitality throughout. A hidden gem.
