The staff were amazing and polite, but the rooms were in poor condition, and we had problems with both electricity and water. The owner was very disorganized and charged us double for a place that wasn’t worth the price. I definitely won’t stay again.

We’re really sad to leave. Of all our Airbnb stays and other accommodations, this has been the best, and the service was incredible. The bungalows give you your own space, with a lovely little chill-out area where we spent evenings with the team, music and little puppies. If you’re lucky, a Red colobus monkey comes by at breakfast. Talib was an amazing owner, and Fahad and company made us a huge breakfast every morning. It felt like an oasis among all the resorts. There’s a Sunset bar a one-minute walk away and a Mangrove forest nearby. Please support local business rather than mega resorts, you won’t be disappointed!

The staff were helpful overall and did their best, but the trouble when we arrived made the hassle feel not worth the price. They gave us the wrong lock for our room and couldn’t find the right key, so we spent over an hour breaking the lock to get our bags and nearly missed our dinner reservation. The sheets also had bugs on them, so we had to change rooms. It’s about 15 minutes from the main road, which made carrying our bags a hassle. The host should have mentioned that ahead of time.

The old-fashioned cottages have a lot of charm, and breakfast was good and included in the booking price. The staff were very friendly. When they realized I was alone, they even took me to the nearby mangrove forests. Thank you, Agnes and Margaret! It’s in Michamvi, away from the beaten track. I’m taking off one star because the Wi-Fi wasn’t good and rain leaked into my room.
