I loved waking up early to the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. AMEG Lodge was a peaceful spot to relax in Moshi before or after a climb or safari, and the modern, spacious rooms and well-kept property made the stay comfortable. The pool, stylish bar, and state-of-the-art gym were all excellent. Rajan and his team made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and were fantastic hosts. I’d highly recommend the lodge, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.

The meals were fresh, full of flavor, and satisfying, from breakfast through to a hearty dinner after a day out. The team were warm and attentive, and took care with every detail. Ameg Lodge also has a peaceful setting and breathtaking views, a lovely backdrop for relaxing or setting off on a Kilimanjaro adventure. The location, hospitality, and food made it a stay I’ll remember.

Rajen and Priya did a lot to make our stay work for us. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are great. Staff were efficient and always had a smile. Ten out of ten across the board.

The marabou that regularly visit the garden are a big bonus. Food was great and the staff were friendly. The only thing I’d change is the shower head in the room. Otherwise, no complaints.

We stayed at Ameg Lodge both before and after hiking Kilimanjaro, and liked the peaceful, safe setting enough that we’d return. The spacious rooms, pool, and grounds were enjoyable, and the fitness centre was handy for a quick workout and stretching around the hike. They stored our bags and carefully recorded the valuables we left behind. The restaurant was quite good, but meals took a while even when it wasn’t very busy. Some staff were friendlier than others. We could hear a little music from a nearby hostel, though it wasn’t loud and didn’t go on for long.
