Rahim, especially, made me feel at home during my amazing week at Mountain Bike House. The place has cute furnishings and a lovely atmosphere, and from the treehouse lounge you can see Mt Kilimanjaro. The owner found me a great cycling guide, Baraka, and we had a wonderful time together. I'd also suggest Maisha Khalisi, a beautiful bar and restaurant with a 360-degree view of Mt Kilimanjaro, owned by Rahim's brother. Asante sana!

The bungalows are well worth recommending. It's a great hostel for meeting people, but also a relaxing place to stay, with home-cooked dinner served at night. Breakfast is modest, though the view of Kilimanjaro is magic. Rahim, the owner, is kind and makes you feel at home. We were a little sad to leave.

We had a lovely time, with lots of fun, laughter, and wonderful experiences, and we'll definitely return. The cottage owner was wonderfully friendly and pleasant, and the mountain view was beautiful. This lodge has the nature feeling I was looking for, and the price is fair. Booking this cottage was the best choice. Highly recommended.

There were always fresh fruits to grab between the delicious homemade Tanzanian meals, and the garden was a perfect spot to relax for the day. The house and rooms were clean too. Mountain bikes house is near the city centre, and staying there was much better for experiencing local life than being in a hotel. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful whenever I wanted advice, day trip ideas, or help finding the best shop. I'm glad I stayed and can only recommend it!

This is a popular place to stay for people climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. The dorms are better than many hostel dorms, but everything else was even better than any hostel I've stayed in, and it's incredibly inexpensive for what you get. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are super friendly, and by the end of your stay the owners feel like friends. If I return to Moshi, I'll definitely stay here again.
