I stayed at Avocado house for about a week in September 2021. It’s around a 10-minute walk to the beach, souvenir shops, and a small grocery. My general impression was GREAT 🥳 Anna, one of the young couple who host the place, was really friendly and helpful. She answered my WhatsApp messages promptly before I arrived and helped whenever I had questions. They arranged an airport transfer when I got there and gave me information about tours. The room was very clean and extremely spacious, with AC 🥶. The restaurant had a nice, comfortable sofa area, and breakfast was delicious. Food and drinks 🍻🍺🍷 were affordable. If you like seafood, try Avocado's seafood soup. I loved it so much I ordered nothing else for dinner at Avocado house. I sometimes wished my room had a kettle, but that’s a small thing and wouldn’t stop me giving the highest rating. It isn’t a hotel after all 😁

The beach is only a 7-minute walk from Savi House, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with AC, a fan, and hot water. We loved staying here. The hosts and staff were kind and helpful, pointing us to nice places in Nungwi and helping us book a snorkeling trip. Breakfast was delicious every day and had a nice variety. Savi House has everything you could need, and we’d highly recommend it.

The hotel’s location worked really well for both shopping and swimming in the ocean. I especially enjoyed the food, including the Mediterranean soup, dorado steaks, and avocado toast. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and cozy, with cleaning available on request. I had a wonderful time here, enjoying the beautiful sunsets and all the amazing colors of the ocean.

Savi House was the last stop on our three-week trip around Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania. We stayed six nights in this cozy place and had a very pleasant, comfortable time. It’s just a five-minute walk to Nungwi’s main beach, one of the best in Nungwi/Kendwa, and breakfast was tasty and different every day. Freeda welcomed us with a big smile, and Pili, Amina, and Elizabeth were all great. The owners were friendly and happy to accommodate our requests. Really recommend it!

A nice place to stay, with really clean rooms and a pleasant garden where you can relax. The staff are great, especially the waiter Dula. The chef makes the best food in Nungwi. I recommend the octopus, tuna steak, and pasta with white sauce 👌
