The dining was simple but exquisite, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and recently updated. Thanks to Simon, Thandu, and everyone on the team for the tropical paradise you’ve created. Ishmael made check-in friendly, and every staff member went out of their way to host us. The pool area is gorgeous. Thank you!

The common areas are attractive and well looked after, and during high tide it’s lovely to visit the pier bar and swim there. The food is very good, and the staff are friendly. The hotel is still being modernized, though, and it isn’t on the part of the coast with the most beautiful sea. Room quality depends a lot on which type you book. Some older rooms are worn, ranging from acceptable to quite bad, with a strong musty smell in some. The renovated rooms are beautiful, so check carefully when booking. You only get one sheet to sleep under. The air conditioning worked well and the shower had good pressure, but I had no hot water, and they couldn’t fix it during my stay. Not every room had that problem. My toilet leaked onto the floor, rain came through the roof, and paint dripped on my belongings. These problems seriously affected my stay. At this time, I can’t recommend the hotel; there are better options.

The restaurant served really good food in a cozy setting, and the pool area was great too. We stayed in clean, comfortable bungalows surrounded by lush tropical greenery. On our last day we even spotted playful monkeys. This peaceful little paradise is tucked between Paje and Jambiani. Simone and the staff looked after us so well and went out of their way to help, even bringing limoncello when we asked. A fantastic stay.

The garden and pool were kept in great shape, and we got drinking water in our room twice a day. The staff were so friendly, the food was truly delicious, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Glory at the spa gives the best massages. Perfect hotel, and definitely one I'd recommend. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
