The hotel has private villas in different sizes to suit the number of guests, rather than standard rooms. We were upgraded to a larger one with an outdoor jacuzzi, which made the stay even more memorable. The villa was spotless each day, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was carefully looked after. Staff were kind, attentive, and warm from the start. The beach was beautifully maintained, with private spaces for each guest that made it feel peaceful and exclusive. Seeing playful monkeys leap between the trees on the property was an unforgettable surprise. The food was excellent most of the time, though a few dishes could have been prepared better to meet the resort's overall standard. The butler service could also have been more attentive. In four days, we saw our butler only three times, and our request for a fruit platter was never fulfilled. Even with those small issues, White Sand Zanzibar is a stunning place to relax, recharge, and enjoy Zanzibar's beauty, where luxury meets serenity.

We usually don't revisit the same places, but we'll be coming back here again and again. We visited White Sands Luxury for the second time, and the service was top-notch. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Everything was exceptional, and we were very grateful for the upgrade. A special thank you to Rosemary, the most pleasant and best waitress in the world.

Dismas made the stay even more memorable. He arranged a complimentary late check-out in a villa similar to ours, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent every day and went beyond what we expected. From the moment we arrived, the gardens and the hotel's atmosphere won us over. The staff paid attention to every detail and made us feel special throughout. White Sand Luxury Villas felt magical, and we left with memories we won't forget. We can't recommend it enough.

We were nervous about traveling a long way with our newborn, who was just three months old on our last visit. As soon as we arrived, the staff's care put us at ease, and having a quality crib and changing table made a big difference. That was our fifth annual stay at White Sands, and we've already booked visit number six. We usually like exploring new places, but the warm welcome, luxurious feel, and beautiful, peaceful setting keep drawing us back. Thomas's personal butler service, the restaurant team's attentive care, and the food are all part of what makes each visit special. Chef Emmanuel, Jerumina, Christina, Rosemary, Blandina, and Doreen made a strong impression, as did Sadiki and Muhammad the coconut man. Valerie's leadership has brought thoughtful improvements that we've been glad to see. White Sands lives up to the Relais & Châteaux name, and we're looking forward to seeing what changes next.

The food was amazing, always perfectly prepared, and the beach outfitters were a fun bunch. Even the monkeys were a highlight. The villas are magnificent, with every amenity and your own personal butler, and the staff are courteous and ready to cater to your wishes. My only suggestion would be to explain the TV and hot tub a little better. A solid five-star stay.
