The wildlife was a huge part of our stay at Camp Zebra in the Northern Serengeti. Its position gave us easy access to the open plains and Mara River, where we saw dramatic crossings, grazing herds, and lions and elephants up close. The mobile camp’s tents were spacious and beautifully equipped while still letting us hear and feel the bush around us. We loved ending the evenings by the campfire beneath the stars, sharing stories with a nightcap as wildlife stirred nearby. Fresh, flavorful meals were thoughtfully prepared, and the warm, attentive staff made us feel cared for throughout. The whole place felt like safari luxury wrapped in the raw wilderness, almost like stepping back in time. Raphiele from Arusha, our guide and driver, took it even further. His knowledge, instinct, and passion brought each drive alive, whether he was finding rare animals or explaining migration. We kept saying the trip would have been extraordinary without him, but with him it was unforgettable. If five stars is the limit, we’d give the trip 7/5. Zebra Camp and Raphiele gave us memories for life.
