Serengeti Safari Lodge

Marshall and his team made our stay at this lodge in the heart of Serengeti National Park a great one. They were hospitable and professional, and Gabriel was very good, even as a student. His manners were 100 percent. If I visit the Serengeti again, I’d definitely book here. Please keep up the good work and thank everyone on our behalf, including the masaai guy too. Going without wifi in the rooms meant we really immersed ourselves in the stay instead of spending time on our devices. Waking to sunrise and the sounds of animals was surreal, and the lodge’s location in the heart of the Serengeti was beautiful. In the evenings, having a maasai security guard walk us to and from our room felt unbelievable. It was exciting and heart-pounding, and we felt safe. Breakfast and dinner were tasty throughout our couple of days, and the service was incredible. The staff made my husband’s birthday one to remember. Special thanks to Sunit, the restaurant staff, and the maasai security.

We stayed two nights in January and enjoyed the spacious rooms, lovely views, and good food choices. The staff were attentive, and I’d definitely recommend the place.

Two nights as part of our safari didn’t feel like enough. The lodges were huge and luxurious, well beyond what we expected, and our balcony looked over the plains. Giraffe, Dikdiks, and Cape Buffalo were right outside our rooms. Sitting out there with lions roaring and hyenas whooping in the distance was magical. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. For our anniversary, they arranged a Swahili performance, a happy anniversary sign, and a delicious cake in the restaurant. The food there was tasty and plentiful. At night, needing to call for a guard to walk us from the lodge was both exciting and a little unnerving, since wild animals were all around. That was part of the experience, and I can’t recommend staying here enough.
